November 06, 2003 – New York, NY – On November 17 at 1:00 PM ET, Al Roker will host “We Are Family: Educating Our Children For A Safer World,” an event that will inspire and educate the world’s youth on the importance of unity and diversity. This unprecedented live webcast of song and motivation will be available to over 190 countries through the support of the partner organizations and through www.courttv.com/SaferWorld and www.wearefamilyfoundation.org. On November 10, the “We Are Family: Educating Our Children For A Safer World” Resource Guide will be available to parents, educators and all caring adults to download. Participating organizations have contributed important education lessons and activities for students that address the issue of diversity. With the support of the nation’s leading education associations, these resources, addressing Pre-K, elementary, middle and high school students will be available through the Court TV and We Are Family Foundation websites.
