On June 23, 2005 CHIC brought the house down at Sir Elton John's 7 th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball Gala held at his Old Windsor estate in England . After performing with Sir Elton, Patti LaBelle, and Joss Stone, CHIC (with original CHIC vocalist Fonzi Thornton) took the stage alone and brought the numerous celebrity guests to their feet with “Le Freak” and kept the party going into the wee hours of the morning. The benefit gala, in association with Chopard, helped raise more than $7 million for the Elton John Aids Foundation and the fight against AIDS
